Education equivalent to:

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Sciences, Engineering or a related field
• Chartered EHS Practioner certification preferred.
• Minimum 10 years experience in safety, health and environmental compliance, preferably within the chemical industry.

Job related work experience skills/knowledge requirements:

• Self motivated individual with good time management skills
• Good IT literacy skills, specifically with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint). Experience using third-party web databases preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent interpersonal skills. Individual must be able to build strong relationships across diverse groups and participate effectively on cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• Experience with implementing standards, procedures and training
• Experience in overseeing the occupational health management function
